Hypertension is high blood pressure. This is a condition that has taken place from your external environment. For example, you may be under stress at your job or school. The stress can be very demanding and causes several things to happen to your body. The blood is pressured against the wall of your blood vessels causing your heart to beat faster and harder. This causes an increase in your pressure and now your normal functioning of your blood pressure is now disturbed or out of balance. The organ system in which this pressure effect is the cardiovascular system that consist of your heart, blood, and blood vessels. Your heart help move or pumps blood through your blood vessels and then the blood delivers oxygen and other components that help this system to function normal. Once the pressure is increase out of its normal range, it sends a message to the brain that there is something going on with the cardio system. The brain tell the body to show signs of the abnormal pressure that is happening by either the nerve system or chemical imbalance in the body. The brain also alert the body to try to function as correcting the problem of the high blood pressure with the interval environment. This an be very difficult if external condition is not monitored or controlled. The cardiovascular system cannot operate in normal balance until the blood pressure it back to its original state and is restored without interruption in the normal range. This condition must be rectified so that nothing may occur that will lead to having a disorder in the blood system, disease, or death.
